Endometriosis Awareness Month

Looking for endo support? You’ve come to the right place.

Meet Layla

I’m Layla Metcalfe, a university-qualified naturopath and clinical nutritionist with nearly two decades in private practice.

I help women understand their bodies and make informed decisions across every stage of life, from menstrual health and fertility to pregnancy, postpartum and midlife transition. I have a strong clinical focus on endometriosis and the hormonal shifts that shape a woman’s life from menarche to elder.

My work is shaped by both clinical training and lived experience. In my early twenties, a brain tumour diagnosis and the hormonal disruption that followed deepened my trust in naturopathic medicine.

Years later, living with endometriosis, navigating fertility, chronic pain, and eventually two “geriatric” pregnancies further refined my understanding of women’s health. Now in my forties raising two young children, I continue to move through my own health and midlife transitions in real time.

These experiences have shaped a compassionate, evidence-informed approach that respects both science and the deeper dimensions of healing. I integrate nervous system support, mindfulness, and practical clinical care to help women improve their quality of life now while protecting their long-term wellbeing.

The Endo Circle

The Endo Circle is an online mentoring and support group facilitated by Layla for women living with endometriosis.

  • The circle is made up of a small intimate group of 8 women who gather together fortnightly over a 3 month period.

    • Fortnightly 90-minute online sessions
    • Monthly guest expert conversations
    • A private group space between meetings

Each session blends education and discussion, approaching endometriosis as a whole-body experience, not simply a diagnosis.

  • We explore:

    • Inflammation, immune load and microbiome health
    • Nervous system regulation and pain patterns
    • Personalised nutrition strategies
    • Hormonal rhythms and reproductive decision-making
    • Chronic depletion and rebuilding resilience
    • The relational and identity impact of long-term illness

    This is not group therapy.
    It is not surface-level advice.

It is structured, guided conversation with nuance and expert facilitation.

  • Women with endometriosis already engaged in care who want depth, clarity and community.

If you are not currently working with Layla, an introductory consultation is required before joining to ensure readiness for the group space.
